• Orientation: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Additional Notes: Float within the organization as needed; first-time travelers accepted

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Progressive care, stepdown, or PCU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients
• Experience with Epic is preferred
• Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ability to work in a collaborative, high-acuity acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to mixed-acuity PCU patients
• Monitor and assess patients with general chronic medical conditions
• Interpret rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer oxygen and support peripheral line care and management
• Use SBAR communication and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support rapid response and code teams as needed
• Float to other units within the organization based on staffing needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
