  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

  • Float Requirement: Required to float as needed to care for patients under 12 months of age, including pediatric units

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years of total NICU III/IV nursing experience
  • At least 1 full year of Level IV NICU experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • AHA NRP certification required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience caring for post-op neonates, g-tubes, trach/vent patients, and invasive/noninvasive ventilation preferred
  • Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts, including weekend coverage
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and family-centered care skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates from admission through discharge
  • Monitor and manage high-acuity medical and surgical NICU patients
  • Support infants requiring advanced respiratory therapies and ventilation management
  • Administer medications, complete assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
  • Care for infants recovering from surgery and those with g-tubes, trachs, and other specialized needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary neonatal care team
  • Provide compassionate family education and support during critical moments
  • Float to other pediatric units as needed to support patient care needs
