Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- 1 year of current experience in progressive care or intermediate care preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing to cardiovascular and ICU patients
- Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to patient care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete patient records in a timely manner
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit environment
