Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 8/24/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Location: Salt Lake City, UT
• EMR: Epic
• Call: Rotating call coverage may be required after orientation

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience in a cath lab, cardiac cath lab, procedural, perioperative, or acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular environment
• Adaptability and confidence as a travel nurse in a specialized cardiac procedure unit

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and interventional procedures
• Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure support
• Collaborate with physicians, interventional cardiology staff, and the procedural team to support efficient case flow
• Prepare the cath lab and help maintain readiness for scheduled and emergent cases
• Document accurately in Epic and follow clinical, safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in call coverage as assigned after orientation
