Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Greenville, North Carolina. Join a high-acuity Medical ICU team and provide critical care for medically complex patients in a rewarding Eastern North Carolina healthcare setting.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
  • Active RN license with compact state acceptance
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Strong experience caring for critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU or Medical ICU setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, high-quality critical care nursing to ICU patients
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support
  • Support care for conditions such as acute respiratory failure, septic shock, ARDS, renal failure, and post-cardiac arrest recovery
  • Manage invasive and non-invasive monitoring, arterial lines, central venous lines, and multiple IV drips
  • Assist with advanced critical care interventions including CRRT, pronation therapy, and targeted temperature management
  • Collaborate closely with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
