• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Shift Times: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Unit Highlights: 8 Level II SCN beds, approximately 800 births per year, 24/7 NNP and neonatology availability

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of SCN or NICU experience preferred
• Level II Special Care Nursery or NICU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current STABLE certification
• Experience with Allscripts charting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate newborn care in a nursery and special care setting
• Monitor newborns for clinical changes and respond promptly to patient needs
• Support admissions, assessments, and ongoing newborn care workflows
• Collaborate closely with neonatal providers, physicians, and the care team
• Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Promote a calm, family-centered environment for parents and newborns
