• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 - $2,150
• Setting: Acute care telemetry / PCU environment
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays; opportunities for precepting; open to a 48-hour/week contract

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry, stepdown, progressive care, or acute care nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience caring for telemetry, stepdown, or progressive care patients preferred
• Comfort with EPIC charting preferred
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a travel nurse role

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to telemetry and progressive care patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and manage common telemetry drips per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support high-quality patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and rhythm interpretations accurately in EPIC
• Support patients recovering from cardiac events, post-procedure care, and other acute medical needs
• Follow unit standards, maintain professional presentation, and contribute to a positive team culture
