• Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours, rotating days/nights
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Required; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:3
• Start Date: 09/08/2026

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with IV starts and telemetry required
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to float to equivalent or lower acuity units as needed
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills supporting adult and geriatric patients

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
• Perform IV starts and support a variety of common medical-surgical procedures
• Administer medications and manage patients receiving heparin and insulin drips
• Support wound care, feeding tube care, and general patient care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Float within the organization to units of equivalent or lower acuity when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and standards
