• Shift: 12-hour day shift, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100 - $2,210
• Schedule Notes: Block scheduling is not guaranteed; floating required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Some pediatric ED experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Charge nurse capability is highly preferred
• Resume, skills checklist, active license verification, and matching identification documents required at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, prioritize, and stabilize patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Administer and monitor critical medications and drips, including pressors, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, TNK, heparin, and insulin
• Support care across a busy 64-bed emergency department with multiple treatment areas
• Utilize specialty equipment such as a rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Document accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed and contribute to safe, efficient patient flow
• Maintain a calm, confident presence while delivering compassionate care in urgent situations
