Job Requirements
- Current and active New York RN license in hand
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work rotating call as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the Operating Room
- Support surgical procedures by preparing the room, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and communicate changes promptly
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient OR environment
- Follow established surgical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Respond to rotating call responsibilities as assigned
