Job Details
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Albany, Georgia (Southwest Georgia)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with weekday coverage; on-call 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 17 weeks
- Start Date: 8/31/2026
- Setting: Acute care cardiac catheterization lab
- Charting System: MEDITECH
- Orientation: 16 hours with 1-2 weeks of floor-specific orientation
- Openings: 2
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab RN experience
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac lab procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with quick turnover
- Balloon pump experience required
- Ability to take call 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing support in the cardiac cath lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Circulate for cath lab cases and support safe, efficient patient flow
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and assist with pre- and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the care team to deliver high-quality cardiac care
- Respond to on-call needs with professionalism and timely availability
- Maintain accurate documentation in the MEDITECH charting system
- Support a smooth, patient-centered experience in a busy cardiovascular procedural environment
