• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Setting: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
• Schedule Notes: Friday nights, Saturday nights, plus one additional night each week
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Active Ohio RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Experience in SICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or Transplant ICU preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, float as needed, and participate in call requirements
• Strong critical care assessment, communication, and documentation skills

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric surgical intensive care patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring invasive lines, ventilators, and advanced critical care support
• Assist with specialized ICU procedures and post-operative care for complex surgical cases
• Support care for trauma, burn, transplant, general surgery, plastics, ENT, colorectal, and orthopedic patients
• Manage CRRT, vasoactive drips, blood product administration, and other advanced ICU therapies as indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
• Float to different units within the organization as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication using SBAR and Epic workflows
