Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 18 months of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience caring for both cardiac and neuro patients in an ICU setting
• AHA BLS and ACLS required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Epic experience required
• Strong experience with critical care monitoring, documentation, and patient assessment
• Ability to complete onboarding modules and orientation requirements before start
• Commitment to a smoke-free, nicotine-free work environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular ICU and mixed ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, arterial blood gases, and hemodynamic data
• Manage vasoactive and cardiac drips, continuous IV sedation, and ventilated patients
• Assist with advanced cardiovascular therapies including IABP and Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Maintain central line and arterial line care in accordance with critical care best practices
• Support post-cardiac surgery and multisystem organ dysfunction patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Float to sister hospitals within scope as needed to support patient care needs
