Job Details
- Setting: ICU / Float Pool
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950-$2,060
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Location: Gettysburg, PA 17325
- Work Environment: On-site travel nursing assignment with float coverage as needed
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Experience in ICU, CCU, or similar acute care settings preferred
- Ability to float between CCU, medical-surgical/telemetry units, and rehabilitation as needed
- Comfort caring for a variety of adult patient populations, including COVID-positive patients when needed
- Ability to meet facility compliance requirements and maintain a strong, flexible work ethic
- Availability to keep time off requests to 7 days or fewer when possible
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU and float pool settings
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to clinical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective care
- Adapt to varying patient acuity across CCU, medical-surgical/telemetry, and rehab units
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR, with EPIC experience highly valued
- Follow established protocols for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care
- Support weekend, holiday, and floating coverage requirements as assigned
- Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
