Job Details

• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Specialty Focus: Neuro operating room with trauma, orthopedic, and robotics cases
• Location: York, Pennsylvania
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Shift Options: 4x10-hour days (07:00–17:30) or 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30)
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170–$2,290
• Call Requirements: 1–2 call shifts per week, plus weekend call coverage every 6 weeks
• Charting System: EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Work Setting: On-site travel assignment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
• Neuro operating room experience required
• Trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with call, weekend call, and holiday coverage as needed
• Must be able to function independently in a neurosurgery environment
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy neuro OR setting
• Support complex surgical cases with a focus on safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
• Assist with case preparation, intraoperative workflow, and post-procedure responsibilities
• Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol standards
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members during trauma, ortho, and robotics procedures
• Adapt quickly to a high-acuity surgical environment and changing case demands
• Participate in call coverage and department needs as assigned
