Job Requirements

  • Active Texas RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry and/or LTAC nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
  • Ability to start no later than 08/24/2026

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to LTAC and Telemetry patients
  • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and leadership in patient care planning
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning and professional development
  • Delegate and coordinate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
  • Support a collaborative healthcare team focused on patient safety and positive outcomes
