Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float as needed
- Orientation: Bi-weekly
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU or stepdown nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Experience with cardiac, neuro, trauma, or ICU-level patient care preferred
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a positive clinical attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients
- Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions including post-open heart recovery, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, septic shock, and post-stroke care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment plans and patient progress
- Administer medications, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Use clinical equipment and documentation systems effectively, including Cerner
- Float to other units as needed based on patient care needs and census
- Maintain a professional, team-focused approach while delivering exceptional patient care
