Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- BSN preferred
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain effective in a stressful, fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per plan of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Utilize unit equipment and documentation systems as part of daily workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
- Float occasionally to similar units as needed
