We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week on-site contract opportunity in Harrison Township, New Jersey. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month based on department needs
• Holiday Requirement: None
• RTO Policy: No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted
• Scheduling Notes: Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not permitted
• Employment Type: Local contract

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Prior travel experience required, including completion of at least one contract assignment
• BSN required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• High-volume, fast-paced emergency care experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Pending certifications, or certifications expiring within 30 days of submission, are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support timely treatment and patient flow in a busy emergency setting
• Document all care thoroughly in Epic
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and prioritize care in a high-acuity environment
• Support patient and family education related to treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Complete all required orientation and onboarding activities in full; failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination, and once scheduled, orientation classes cannot be rescheduled
