Job Details

• Setting: Operating Room / Level I Trauma Center environment
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

• Duration: 17 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week with rotating day, evening, and night coverage, plus on-call/callback, floating, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Openings: 4

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level I trauma experience strongly preferred
• Ability to scrub and circulate required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience highly desired
• Experience with specialty surgical cases such as transplants, plastics, reconstructive procedures, and craniotomy preferred
• Strong orthopedic background preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing support in a busy Operating Room setting
• Scrub and circulate for a diverse range of surgical cases
• Support procedures across specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Assist with high-acuity and specialty cases, including transplant-related procedures
• Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a collaborative surgical team environment
• Adapt to rotating assignments, call responsibilities, and unit-based scheduling needs
