Join a fast-paced Boston healthcare team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative RN who thrives in a surgical services environment and values teamwork, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment.

- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: Day/evening rotation, with start times at 7:00 AM on days and 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM on evenings
- Weekend/Holiday Expectations: Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday
- On-Call: 1x per schedule
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,190 - $2,310

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room RN experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Scrub experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to competently work in at least 5 surgical service lines
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 surgical services environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room across a broad range of surgical specialties
- Support cases in general surgery, gynecology, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
- Assist with scrub duties and maintain readiness for a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Adapt to floating needs within surgical services when required
- Contribute to a professional, patient-focused environment with excellent communication and teamwork
