Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience in acute care or inpatient nursing
• At least 1 travel nursing assignment in a general inpatient setting
• BLS certification through AHA
• EPIC experience required
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Must meet 80-mile local radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to Med/Surg patients on a surgical unit
• Monitor patient conditions, document assessments, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and carry out provider orders in accordance with RN scope of practice
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality outcomes and smooth patient flow
• Use EPIC to chart accurately and maintain timely clinical documentation
• Adapt to float needs and support unit operations as required
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care during 12-hour night shifts
