• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Orientation: 24 hours onsite

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required; 2 years of CVICU experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong critical care nursing skills and comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to float to like units within scope as needed
• Pending New Mexico or compact RN license accepted prior to start

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality care to cardiovascular ICU patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, and invasive hemodynamic lines
• Provide care for ventilated patients and support advanced respiratory needs
• Assist with post-cardiac surgery, cardiac cath/intervention, and other critical cardiac care procedures
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and patient trends to respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and safety standards
