Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification preferred
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a high-acuity Med/Surg environment
• Travel nurse experience welcomed; first-time travelers may be considered

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients using established clinical standards
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to evolving care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately
• Support rapid response activation when clinically indicated
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and social services
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in Epic
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and quality outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments within like units as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment on a busy adult Med/Surg floor
