• Location: Bridgeport, CT 06610
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000 - $3,160
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Cardiovascular Procedures
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Call: Required, including weekday evenings and weekend coverage
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab, cardiovascular nursing, or a related invasive procedural setting
• ACLS and BLS required
• Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Ability to monitor procedural sedation and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Comfort working with a high-acuity adult patient population

Responsibilities

• Circulate for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
• Support procedures such as stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, TEE, cardioversion, and other advanced interventions
• Monitor procedural sedation and maintain patient safety throughout cases
• Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes as needed
• Provide skilled clinical support for adult patients undergoing invasive cardiac care
• Participate in call coverage and respond to emergency cardiac procedures as needed
• Work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and the procedural team to deliver excellent patient care
