- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing / Emergency Department RN
- Start Date: 8/31/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts; 36 or 48 hours per week, depending on staffing needs
- Weekend Requirement: Weekends required; holiday rotation applies
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- Charting System: Epic experience required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license; pending Virginia RN license accepted if in hand by the required start deadline
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Must have either 1 year of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience
- Experience caring for pediatric patients required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required; TNCC may be pending at submission but must be completed before start
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and comfort working in a high-volume emergency department
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in the emergency department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Support the care of Level I trauma, Level II trauma, stroke, and chest pain/STEMI patients
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered emergency care
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain timely, thorough charting
- Adapt to changing staffing needs and maintain flexibility with scheduling requirements
- Float within scope of practice as needed to support patient care delivery
