Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. state
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• EPIC EHR experience required
• Comfort working nights in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to float between two medical-surgical/telemetry units as needed
• Experience supporting overflow patients in ICU and ED settings preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

Med/Surg Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for adult and pediatric med/surg patients
• Care for telemetry patients and support overflow assignments in ICU and ED
• Float between two med-surg/tele units based on patient and unit needs
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patients closely and respond to changing clinical conditions with confidence
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, communication, and professionalism
