• Location: Albany, NY 12208
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• End Date: 10/22/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Setting: Progressive Care / Neurology-focused inpatient unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent experience in Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to successfully complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all candidates
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to provide safe, attentive patient care
• Comfort working in a team-oriented, high-acuity hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record using Epic
• Support patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout the care process
• Follow unit procedures, competency standards, and clinical best practices
