Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• Setting: 16-bed Emergency Department with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Location: Mount Pleasant, TX 75455

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in Texas or a compact state
• At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room, emergency department, or related nursing specialty
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• TNCC certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Care for a varied patient population, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education, resources, and support
• Prioritize care, manage multiple patients effectively, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support rapid response to urgent and emergent situations in a busy emergency department
