Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible travel assignment that may include floating to Psych ED and Pedi ED for patients age 15+ when prior pediatric experience is available.

• Duration: 20 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours per week depending on contract preference
• Openings: 3
• Setting: Busy Emergency Department / Emergency Room

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience, or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience
• Active, unexpired BLS certification
• Active, unexpired ACLS certification
• Active, unexpired TNCC certification
• Active, unexpired PALS certification
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Willingness to complete and pass a telemetry assessment on day 1
• EPIC experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work two weekends in a four-week schedule period and every other holiday
• Must be willing to sign through 01/09/2027 and work two of the three winter holidays, including surrounding dates

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Care for patients with varying acuity levels while maintaining safe patient ratios
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions with clinical confidence
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and recognize cardiac abnormalities promptly
• Support care across the ED, with flexibility to float to Psych ED and Pedi ED as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during every shift
• Adapt to a high-volume department serving a large number of patients daily
