• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: Typically 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• End Date: 12/01/2026
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Float: Required to other Med/Surg Tele units as assigned
• Schedule Flexibility: Will consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Strong acute care assessment, telemetry interpretation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet compliance and documentation deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an observation unit setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document accurately and efficiently using the facility's charting system
• Support safe patient flow and adapt to changing unit needs
• Float to additional Med/Surg Tele units as assigned
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-first approach throughout the assignment
