• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (approximately 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current Registered Nurse license/certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least one recent OR reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Scrub experience preferred
• Previous charge experience is not required, but strong perioperative clinical skills are essential
• All required credentials must be active and in hand at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting
• Function as an OR circulator and support scrub duties as needed
• Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical environments for procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
• Monitor patient condition throughout the surgical experience and respond to changes appropriately
• Maintain a sterile, efficient, and organized OR environment
• Support patient safety, communication, and smooth workflow throughout the surgical day
