Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Current Illinois RN license or compact RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• Strong experience working in a fast-paced ED or ER environment
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a team-based care model
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across a diverse range of acuity levels
• Support a 30-bed Emergency Department with a high daily patient volume
• Perform assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring for acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
• Respond to trauma, stroke, chest pain, and behavioral health presentations as needed
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency room setting
• Contribute to a collaborative POD nursing assignment model
