Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of registered nurse experience required
• Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Completion of required learning modules as assigned
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to cardiac stepdown patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, communication, quality care, and clinical excellence
• Support unit workflow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital environment
