• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Previous acute care, telemetry, or stepdown experience preferred
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to PCU and stepdown patients
• Perform ongoing assessments, identify changes in condition, and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and manage complex therapies according to policy and best practice
• Monitor telemetry and verify rhythm strips as required
• Provide care for patients with cardiac telemetry, vascular, and medical-surgical needs
• Manage common progressive care devices and therapies, including chest tubes, drains, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, and select drips
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families while serving as an advocate for safety, quality, and positive outcomes
