• Shift: Night shift flexibility, 1800-0630 or 1600-0430 based on department needs
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Location: Maryville, IL 62062, near St. Louis, Missouri

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• Ability to complete a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong critical thinking skills in high-acuity and rapidly changing situations
• Comfort working with pediatric and adult patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, prioritize care, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Support trauma, critical care, pediatric, and adult emergency needs as assigned
• Assist with stabilization, resuscitation, triage, and crisis intervention
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-volume, high-intensity emergency nursing environment
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and quality outcomes at all times
