• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

• Location: Midlothian, Virginia 23114
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Call Requirements: 6–8 call shifts in a 6-week schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Specialties: Robotics, spine, orthopedics, laparoscopic, general surgery, GYN, urology, and vascular

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Strong experience across multiple surgical specialties preferred
• Ability to work evenings and participate in call rotation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical services environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and support smooth case flow
• Assist with gowning, draping, prepping, and sterile field maintenance
• Operate and manage surgical equipment as needed
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical staff to support optimal patient outcomes
• Follow evidence-based practices and uphold high standards of patient safety
