• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday rotation may apply
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms confidently
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Strong acute care, stepdown, or telemetry nursing experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition quickly and accurately
• Administer medications safely and manage complex medication therapies, including Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin drips
• Care for patients requiring oxygen support such as trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families while supporting safe transitions and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a calm, professional approach while delivering compassionate care in a busy telemetry unit
