Job Details
- Location: Toledo, Ohio 43623
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000–$2,100
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift; Monday through Friday with one weekday off
- Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- Setting: Infusion and oncology care environment
- Patient Volume: Approximately 7–9 injections/infusions per day
- Technology: Epic, Omnicell, Alaris Pumps, Infusystem pumps
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact eligible
- At least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or oncology nursing
- BLS required, or ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, OCN, Vascular Access, or CRNI
- Experience with IV therapy, chemotherapy administration, and blood product transfusion
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work safely in a high-acuity healthcare environment and follow infection control practices
Responsibilities
- Provide coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to infusion and oncology patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, blood products, and IV therapies safely and accurately
- Start IVs, place peripheral and central lines, and support vascular access needs
- Deliver patient and family education related to treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote quality outcomes and patient safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient daily workflow in a busy infusion setting
