Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• Recent experience in Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, Emergency Department, or critical care preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate care in both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby settings
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring, maternal assessments, and newborn support
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical monitoring technology

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, family-centered care to mothers, newborns, and obstetric patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Support triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency management as needed
• Assist with circulating and recovering C-sections
• Collaborate with physicians, care management, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on self-care, newborn care, breastfeeding, discharge planning, and follow-up needs
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and adjust the plan of care appropriately
• Promote safety, quality improvement, and positive patient outcomes in every interaction
