• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Unit Highlights: Care for early and late pre-term infants and high-risk low birth weight babies

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP required
• STABLE preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to provide safe care in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments and closely monitor infant status
• Support stabilization, resuscitation, and ongoing care of high-risk newborns
• Assist with deliveries as part of the NICU team
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
• Manage common NICU equipment and interventions such as bubble CPAP, high-flow support, nasal cannulas, peripheral IVs, umbilical lines, NG/OG tubes, and syringe pumps
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, family-centered care
• Educate and support families throughout the NICU experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established unit procedures and safety standards
• Promote a calm, compassionate, and professional environment for newborns and their families
