• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shift
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• End Date: November 23, 2026
• Setting: Inpatient surgical services / operating room
• Work Environment: No call required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room or surgical services nursing experience required
• Experience as an OR circulator strongly preferred
• Experience in orthopedics, neurology, or vascular surgery preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required based on department needs
• Ability to successfully complete any required skills assessment or testing
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of patient care and OR workflow

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare patients for surgery and support preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Circulate cases and assist the surgical team during procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold OR safety standards at all times
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team
• Document patient care accurately and communicate key clinical information clearly
• Anticipate surgical needs and support efficient room turnover and case flow
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, attentive care
