Job Details

• Location: Richmond, Virginia 23226
• Healthcare Setting: Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Call Requirement: Approximately 4 times per month
• Patient Population: Pediatric through geriatric

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology or procedural nursing experience required
• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong cerebral angiogram experience required
• Experience with sedation for all case types, including neuro cases
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with Y90, TACE, TIPS, carotid stents, and vertebral stents strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a busy, flexible, and adaptable environment
• EKG exam required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Interventional Radiology setting using the nursing process
• Complete patient assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications safely and support sedation for procedures, including neuro cases
• Assist with a high volume of angio and special procedures each day
• Support diagnostic, CT, and ultrasound procedures as needed
• Care for patients undergoing complex vascular and interventional procedures
• Serve as a patient advocate while promoting safety, quality, and positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in EPIC
• Adapt to changing case needs and provide coverage in a fast-moving procedural environment
