• Weekly Hours: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160–$2,270
• Float: May float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set

Labor & Delivery RN Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Valid compact or Washington State RN license in hand at submission
• Current BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• ACLS preferred
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Ability to care for adolescent, infant, and adult patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for labor, preterm labor, and antepartum patients
• Assist with circulating, scrub, pre-op, post-op, triage, and low-risk Labor & Delivery care
• Attend and support all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Manage blood and blood product administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac care
• Support medication and therapy administration, including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Perform fetal monitoring and assist with obstetric procedures such as C-section circulation and intrauterine pressure catheter use
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe staffing and excellent patient outcomes
