Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Active RN license with compact license in hand at submission
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with high-acuity obstetric care, perinatal nursing, and floating based on skill set
• Ability to provide 2 professional references covering the last 1 year within the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care for laboring and postpartum patients
• Assist with triage, circulating for C-sections, recovery, and scrub duties as needed
• Support low-risk antepartum, low-risk labor & delivery, post-op, and pre-op patient care
• Attend routine, high-risk, and emergency deliveries with confidence and teamwork
• Administer and monitor therapies including blood products, magnesium sulfate, insulin, heparin, and pain management interventions
• Perform skilled assessments, fetal monitoring, and patient education throughout the perinatal experience
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to maintain patient safety and excellent outcomes
