Job Overview
This night shift travel RN position is ideal for a seasoned Labor & Delivery nurse with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a structured hospital environment. You’ll support labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care while working alongside a supportive care team.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
- Float Expectation: May float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set
Job Requirements
- 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS preferred
- Must be comfortable with high-acuity obstetrical care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Must be willing to work nights and participate in required holiday coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns as assigned
- Assist with triage, assessment, monitoring, and ongoing management of obstetrical patients
- Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk deliveries
- Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, and recovery duties as needed
- Administer blood products, IV medications, and obstetrical drips such as insulin, magnesium sulfate, and anticoagulation therapies
- Manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, drains, and wound care needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary women’s health team to support low-risk antepartum, transition nursery, and couplet care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Deliver patient education and support families throughout the labor and birth experience
