ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

  • Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

ICU RN Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • AHA ACLS certification required
  • CCRN preferred
  • NIHSS preferred
  • Experience with Cerner preferred
  • Ability to work scheduled holidays as required by the assignment

ICU Nursing Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality critical care nursing to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with ICU protocols and nursing standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient critical care environment
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with strong attention to detail
