Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in PCU, adult acute care, or ICU preferred
• ACLS certification required
• Strong understanding of advanced hemodynamics and pressor titration
• Experience caring for high-acuity medical and surgical patients
• Comfortable working with an average patient load of 3 high-acuity patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, multisystem organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and surgical complications
• Administer and titrate therapies such as antihypertensive drips, sedative infusions, narcan drips, and thrombo-embolic agents per protocol
• Care for patients requiring advanced support including a-lines, CVP monitoring, EVDs, ortho traction, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxypendent
• Follow infection prevention protocols and support safe, evidence-based patient care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes and a smooth patient experience
