Travel Nurse Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Type: Travel nursing assignment

- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with day/evening rotation
- Hours per Week: 36-40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700-$2,840
- Weekends/Call: Up to 2 weekends per month; call coverage may be required
- Orientation: Weekly orientation availability
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- Experience with neuro, orthopedic trauma, and kidney transplant cases strongly preferred
- Ability to scrub and/or circulate in a variety of surgical specialties
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
- Must be available for day/evening rotation and occasional call coverage
Operating Room RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical continuum
- Scrub and/or circulate for general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedics, neuro, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, trauma, and organ procurement cases
- Support patients undergoing complex procedures in a high-volume operating room environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient workflow
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and accurate documentation
- Adapt to rotating assignments, call coverage, and varying case demands as needed
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented surgical culture focused on quality patient care
