Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift schedule, approximately 10-hour days
- Weekly Schedule: Monday through Friday with one day off; approximately 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of assignment or compact state eligibility
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in medical/surgical, oncology, infusion, or related settings
- BLS certification preferred upon hire and required prior to direct patient care if not already held
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire
- ACLS, OCN, Vascular Access, INCC, or CRNI certifications preferred
- Experience with electronic health records; Epic experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for infusion and IV therapy patients with a focus on safety, comfort, and quality outcomes
- Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, and blood products in accordance with clinical standards and policy
- Start and maintain IV access, place peripheral and central lines, and perform therapeutic phlebotomies as needed
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans based on clinical findings
- Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care
- Support a positive, efficient clinical environment while upholding professional nursing standards
